Brentford fans have given the thumbs up to reports linking them with a move for Leeds United centre-back Pontus Jansson.
The Swede is reportedly on his way out of Elland Road amid speculation that the relationship between the player and the club has broken down.
Jansson was given an extended break following the rest of the first-team squad's return to Thorp Arch, with Leeds' Championship rivals Brentford emerging on Saturday afternoon as the bookies' favourites to take advantage of the situation and land the Sweden international.
The Bees finished 11th in the Championship last season, but supporters are hugely encouraged by the links to Jansson, who they see as a replacement for centre-back Ezri Konsa, who is the subject of interest from Fulham and has a £12million release clause in his deal at Griffin Park.
