Animal welfare experts are again appealing for a new home for Frankles, a nine-year-old Dog De Bordeaux cross currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder.
Frankles’ carers say he is a playful, energetic boy who will never fail to put a smile on your face with his silly antics.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “He is an affectionate boy who adores his family and loves a cuddle. Frankles can live with children aged 16 and over.
"Frankles loves his walks, though with his size can be strong on his lead.
“He will be best suited to a strong owner, happy to walk a big dog.
“Frankles prefers to walk in quiet areas without the distraction of other dogs where he can take his time to explore. He is looking for a home with new owners who will be around most of the day to keep him company.
“He absolutely loves to play, so his new home will need a secure garden where he is able to run around off-lead and enjoy playing with all his favourite ball.”
