We are just a few weeks away from the arrival of Yae Miko in Genshin Impact, and that’s about the time you want to take to start farming for ascension materials, given that she’s going to require a ton of them to ascend to 90.
The good news? All her materials are able to be farmed now, ahead of time, meaning you can be good to go as soon as she arrives. Here’s what you’re going to need:
Character Ascension
- 420,000 Mora
- 421 Hero’s Wit (or 1,676 Adventurer’s)
- 168x Sea Ganoderma – You’ve seen these around for a very long time now, but they’ve had relatively little use, until now. Hopefully you have randomly grabbed a bunch already, but if not, here’s where they can be found around the map:
- 46x Dragonheir’s False Fins – This is the new boss that arrived with Enkanomiya, which we can already farm now. These are used for Shenhe already.
- 18x White Handguards, 30x Green Handguards, 36x Blue Handguards – Like Raiden Shogun and Ayaka before her, Yae Miko will need a bunch of samurai-farmed materials from all around Inazuma. And even more for talents.
Talents
- 4.9 million Mora
- 9x Green Light Talent Books, 63x Blue Light Talent Books, 114x Purple Light Talent Books – You farm these in Violet Court in Inazuma
- 18x White Handguards, 66x Green Handguards, 93x Blue Handguards – As I said, you’ll need even more of these in order to max her talents. And of course, Three Crowns of Insight to triple Cap.
- 18x Raiden Shogun Boss Item – Alright this is the one thing you cannot farm yet because I am assuming this will be gotten from the new weekly version of the Raiden Shogun boss fight coming in 2.5
So yeah, get all that and you will be prepared to max Yae Miko in short order. Though that does not include weapon farming which is a separate thing, and I’m not sure about the details for that yet. But this should get you well on your way to being ready to pull her, guaranteed after 180 pulls, a 50/50 shot at 90 pulls, if you’re unlucky and don’t get her randomly before that.
