Keen-eyed Genshin Impact fans were quick to notice what is apparently a parody of Donald Trump in the new region of Snezhnaya. Here’s where you can find the issue of “Snezhnaya Vestnik” that references the U.S. President within Genshin Impact.

Where to find ‘Snezhnaya Vestnik’ with Donald Trump reference in Genshin Impact
The Genshin Impact version 7.0 update brought us the new region of Snezhnaya, and with it came a lot of lore and in-game literature. One of which is an issue of Snezhnaya Vestnik, a newspaper for the region, that players found to seemingly reference Donald Trump’s method of speaking.
This particular one can be found in the town of Sretomorozsk in the southern part of Snezhnaya, where it connects with Nod-Krai. Act I of the Archon Quest will bring you here, but you can also simply walk to the Statue of the Seven whenever.
After getting off the train, you’ll find yourself at a station. This is also the biggest structure in the town, so it’s hard to miss on the map. You’ll find a small newsstand next to the exit facing the train. Interact with this newsstand and click the “Now Hiring: Private Security Guards — Generous Pay!” column.
The column is a newspaper job advertisement written by a “Grand Duke Diomid Turzov,” who just happens to share Donald Trump’s initials. Many pointed out that the text seems to replicate Trump’s choice of words and speech structure, with sentences like “It is the most beautiful fountain in all of Snezhnaya. Maybe even the most beautiful in all of Teyvat” and “A very, very great deal of money.“
This isn’t the first time Genshin Impact referenced the President of the United States. A book titled “The Art of Negotiation” seemingly references Donald Trump’s “The Art of the Deal,” which was published back in 1987. The cover of the in-game book even features a man who loosely resembles Trump.

Donald Trump reference in Genshin Impact is not a localization issue
As soon as the update dropped, many Travelers hopped online to share this bizarre reference.
Most of the community received the parody in jest, with one user in particular saying, “I’m sorry, Genshin Impact, I wasn’t familiar with your game.” Some, however, pointed out that this was a localization issue and that the team in charge of translating the game to English was responsible.

This was quickly debunked, as the original Chinese version of the text retains references to Trump’s inflection and even the Grand Duke Diomid Turzov’s name.
Genshin Impact version 7.0 added Snezhnaya and a plethora of in-game lore, literature, and possibly, references yet to be found.
