The livestream details were finally announced by miHoYo and there’s a surprising amount of information available already.
When is the Genshin Impact Version 2.3 livestream start time?
Developer miHoYo has officially announced that the Genshin Impact Version 2.3 livestream will air on November 12 at 7 a.m. Eastern.
This is in line with previous events, as the livestreams typically occur 9 to 10 days prior to the end of a particular version.

The Genshin Impact Version 2.3 livestream will air on Twitch, YouTube, and Bilibili.
The nice thing is that miHoYo will simultaneously broadcast its livestreams in multiple languages, meaning you won’t have to wait until afterward for it to be translated into English. You can also catch the presentation on YouTube in regular video format, just in case you missed it the first time (or if you simply want to watch it again).
What will be revealed during the Genshin Impact Version 2.3 livestream?
It’s not totally clear what will be shown, but we do know it will cover the contents of Genshin Impact Version 2.3. Supposedly, we’ll get at least three new Geo characters during the 2.3. update, along with a possible new event, weapons, and artifacts. As expected, miHoYo likes to save some surprises for the event itself, so you’ll have plenty to look forward to.
What are the Genshin Impact Version 2.3 Banners?
As part of the livestream’s official announcement on Twitter, three characters were shown off including Gorou, Albedo, and Itto (a claymore wielding warrior who resembles Jin from Xenoblade Chronicles 2).
This corroborates a recent leak that claimed as many as seven additional characters might make an appearance during Version 2.3.
It’s worth noting that Albedo is a re-run, allowing players a better chance of acquiring them during Version 2.3.
Genshin Impact Version 2.3 will launch around November 24.
