Geno Atkins does an extension with Nike

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins is sticking with the Swoosh.

Tuesday, Element Sports Group announced Atkins has re-upped with Nike, assuring one of the NFL’s top defensive linemen sticks with the brand.

It has been a big year or so for Atkins on the contractual front. In August of 2018, he inked a four-year extension with the Bengals worth $65.2 million, which will keep him under contract with the team through the 2022 season.

Now 31 years old, Atkins hasn’t shown any signs of slowing coming out of a 10-sack campaign, putting him at nine or more in each of the past four seasons and 71 for his career.

Besides his on-field production, Atkins is now doubling as a mentor for rookie defensive tackle Renell Wren.
