Genius ways 'protective' Jade Thirlwall kept Little Mix BFFs' pregnancies a secret

Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock both sent shockwaves through the showbiz world they announced their secret pregnancies over the past week.

The Little Mix stars managed to cleverly hide their blossoming bumps by cropping photos on social media and by donning baggy, shapeless clothes to disguise their growing tummies.

While both singers made huge efforts to hide their exciting news for as long as possible, they were also helped out by their band member and BFF, Jade Thirlwall who went to massive lengths to keep her pals’ baby joy under wraps.

Perrie and Leigh-Anne announced their amazing baby news one week apart from one another on Instagram, and their third member Jade couldn’t fawn over her pregnant pals enough.

Lifting the lid on how protective Jade has been over her BFF’s in recent months, body language expert Judi James has looked at the genius ways the Geordie lass has helped keep the pregnancies under wraps.

The girls have recently been posing for numerous photoshoots to promote their brand-new single, Confetti, and until now, Leigh-Anne and Perrie have cleverly hidden their bumps.

According to body language expert Judi, Jade has made a point of positioning her pose in a bid to disguise her friends’ blossoming bumps.

Elsewhere, the trio left fans baffled when they decided to cross-dress for their brand-new music video.

Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and Jade all donned baggy outfits, beards, and disguised their identities in the bizarre video – much to the surprise of their supporters.

But after they broke their baby news earlier this week, their unlikely actions have started to make sense as Little Mix lovers have realised that the girls dressed up as men in a bid to hide their bodies.

In recent months, the Little Mix girls have also decided to switch up their signature style.

Known for their risqué outfits, the trio appeared to re-brand their style following Jesy Nelson’s departure from the band after ten years.

Fans may have initially put the change in style down to a re-brand, but as it turns out, both Perrie and Leigh-Anne were dressing differently in a bid to hide their growing baby bumps.

Proving that she’s a true, supportive friend, Jade also decided to adopt a different style so as to swerve any speculation about her pals’ pregnancies.

Body language guru Judi told the Sun that Jade appears to be incredibly protective over her friends.

“Those protective traits and the mirrored joy are still visible,” she revealed.
