A mum has created a stunning selfie photobooth under her stairs for her daughter's 18th birthday party.
Sherri Bruton saved herself a fortune after being quoted more than £300 to hire a selfie booth for the teenager's special day.
The savvy mum was determined her daughter would have her wish and created one in her own home.
Sherri created a stunning backdrop using pink glitter rose wallpaper at £12.99 from B&M and gave the under-stairs cupboard the feel of a photographer's studio adding LED ring lights which were £18.99 from eBay.
Posting on thew DIY on a Budget Facebook page, Sherri said: "My daughter turns 18 Monday and I’m doing her a party In the house (must be mad). She wanted a selfie booth and with quotes of £300-plus to hire one I decided to make my own under my stairs.
"It was so easy to do and spent just £35 pounds doing it . We are just waiting for the tripod that will hold the I pad to take pics. She’s happy so I’m happy."
