An incredible hack shows you've been doing an everyday task wrong your whole life.
A Tik Tok user has shared an incredible hack and revealed the correct way to close a cereal box, according to Wales Online.
The simple solution is bound to frustrate cereal lovers who have no doubt been fiddling with the top of the cardboard box for years.
In the video, the woman - who goes by the username of @kateybee2020 - shows a streamlined way to make sure the contents stay fresher for longer rather than slotting the tab on the flap into the perforated slot.
She tucks the two smaller side tabs inside, folding the box in half on each side to create two cardboard V shapes pointing towards one another.
The second bigger flap is then folded in, over the other side of the V to hold it in place.
It was captioned 'You've been doing it wrong all this time'.
Social media users were quick to praise the incredible hack, with one saying: "TikTok is like free college."
Another commented: "why did no one tell me?" to which the user replied: "A few years ago Kellogg's put instructions on their boxes, it's just something that stuck with me! And now I pass it on!"
A third replied: "This is for people like me who always mess up the opening and it will never close again."
