Web users were left amazed by the new secret method to peel garlic cloves without getting their hands dirty.
Chefs and at-home cooks have shared different ways to peel the pungent bulb - from shaking the garlic in a jar , soaking them in water and even microwaving them.
But one Twitter user has revealed the latest trick to ease the fuss when it comes to food preparation.
Valentina, from Toronto, Canada, shared a clip of someone using a knife, to stab the individual cloves from the side and remove it from the head.
Instead of taking the cloves out and shedding the skin individually, it's faster and easier to puncture the garlic and scoop the clove out.
The clove will then come out effortlessly with its skin peeled.
She wrote in caption: "As someone who makes a lot of Korean food, this is the best method for getting garlic peeled!"
The video, posted on Sunday, has gathered over 14.2 million views on social media, including model-turned-cook Chrissy Teigen, who re-tweeted it with a stunning reaction: "WHAAAAAAAT".
Others were shocked as one user asked: "What kind of sorcery is this?"
Many wished they had known the trick earlier as one joked: "I'm 33 years old. I've lost no less than four years of my life peeling farlic.
"It's too late for me. I hope younger generations can benefit."
But some keen users tried it and failed to remove the clove perfectly as in the video.
They pointed out that the type of knife is crucial in scooping the clove out from the head.
"Seems like the knife needs to be not too thin and sharp?" one asked.
"It looks more like a pocket knife than a kitchen knife," another suggested.
