Genesis announce reunion UK arena tour - here's how to get tickets

One of the biggest selling groups of all time, Genesis have announced their reuniting for a UK arena tour in 2020.

They'll perform together for the first time in 13 years with eight arena shows lined up.

It'll mark the original trio's Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford first tour since 2007's Turn It On Again: The Tour.

They'll kick off the tour in Liverpool on November 23 and finish up in Glasgow on December. It also includes to huge headline shows at the O2 Arena on November 29-30.

Genesis have sold an estimated 100 million records and performed to sold-out stadiums and arenas across the globe, making them one of the most successful bands ever.

In the group's early years there was multiple line-up changes before the classic line-up of Banks, Collins and Rutherford came together in 1976.

They went on to release successful albums including And Then There Were Three, Duke, Abacab, Genesis and Invisible Touch.

More recently the group reunited at a basketball game in New York earlier this year, sparking rumours of a reunion on social media.

They confirmed it on Twitter last night (March 3) as well as an interview on BBC Radio 2 this morning (March 4).

How to get tickets

They go on general sale at 9am on Friday, March 6 via ticketmaster.co.uk.

Tickets are priced at £68.15 / £85.35 / £136.50 / £176.50.
