They are also hoping to provide people with a festive gift when they collect their food - but need donations to make sure they can reach everyone who turns up to the Gauze Street eaterie.

She told the Paisley Daily Express: “We know we are quite fortunate and the deli is doing well, so we decided we wanted to do something to help those who need it this Christmas and give something back.

“We wanted to get the word out to people that they can come to us on Christmas Day between noon and 2pm to collect a three-course meal.

“There are sadly so many people out there who will be alone or not able to afford to make their own Christmas lunch this year and we wanted to do something to
help.

“No one should go without a Christmas meal or be on their own.

“They can pop in for dinner to take away with them and a wee chat.”

Patricia, 28, who took over the cafe six months ago, says she hopes the community will get behind her efforts

She added: “Christmas is all about giving, so we have contacted the local church which is also on board and we are hoping to reach out to other organisations.

“We would like to give everyone who comes a small gift, so people are more than welcome to hand in items to the deli which we can give out on the day.
