'Generational talent' - Chelsea fans are saying the same thing after Kai Havertz goal vs Burnley

With Manchester City comfortably defeating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Manchester United in today's lunchtime kick-off, all eyes were on Chelsea and whether the Blues could clinch yet another three points this afternoon against Burnley and increase their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Certainly, Thomas Tuchel's men responded in brilliant fashion, as they completely controlled proceedings in the first half.

Fluid possession-based football with sustaining pressure meant the Blues' efforts were rewarded in the 33rd minute, as Reece James' excellent cross was converted by the onrushing Kai Havertz.

The German was influential in the first half, constantly drifting in between the lines, dragging opposing Burnley defenders away from their designated zones and creating plenty of space for supporting teammates to attack with authority.

Chelsea fans were quick to jump onto social media and shower the 21-year-old with immense praise.

@JackKaroki tweeted: 'king Kai

@havertzsmiles went on to say: 'GENERATIONAL TALENT'

Havertz divides opinion amongst the Chelsea fan base, but there's no denying the talent he possesses and it's just a question of whether he can maintain consistency in his performances and give the club a high level of output in goals and assists.
