George Bowie has announced a second GBX charity party night at Glasgow's Radisson RED Hotel Sky Bar.

The Clyde 1 DJ is hosting another Generation GBX night on Friday, August 19 at the Finnieston hotspot. It comes after tickets for the original event, set for August 5, sold out in less that 12 hours.

All proceeds raised will go to charity, Cash For Kids. George, 54, promises to ' serve up the very best in nineties club classics and anthems'.

He told Glasgow Live: “Think my pals and I playing our favourite club classics from the nineties; everything from JX to USURA to Tall Paul to Underworld. When I saw the RED Sky Bar I knew it was the venue for this brand, it’s perfect.I’ve never played in a venue quite like it."

“The first date sold out in less than 12 hours which is incredible, so the chance to add another show and let everyone have the chance to join us was too good to miss. Double the shows equals double the money for Cash For Kids, every penny of ticket money goes straight to the charity and none of the DJs are taking a fee.

"Radisson RED are donating the venue and their time too, so it’s a great team effort. We’re buzzing to be part of this amazing venue for Generation GBX, big plans are coming your way.”
