General Motors has agreed to sell its European business to PSA, which will become Europe’s second-biggest car maker in terms of sales.
The manufacturer of Peugeot and Citroen has pledged to return the German Opel and British Vauxhall brands to profitability but that may come at a cost, with Vauxhall workers in Britain fearing for their jobs.
