Boris Johnson's Tories are clinging on to a double figure lead in the polls with a week to go until the December 12 vote.
The Conservatives' advantage looked to have slipped in some surveys but an average of figures from the last seven days put the party 10 points ahead of Labour.
The poll of polls, compiled by PA Media, puts the Tories on 43 per cent, with Jeremy Corbyn's Labour behind on 33.
Jo Swinson's Lib Dems are languishing behind the two main parties on 13 per cent, while the Brexit Party and the Greens are both on three.
It comes as Mr Johnson remained steadfast in his vow to deliver Brexit and a fresh trade deal with the EU by the end of next year.
While he also revealed a raft of pledges for London, including plans to tackle the housing crisis and homelessness, in an exclusive interview with the Standard.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party was rocked by further anti-Semitism allegations as the Jewish Labour Movement submitted testimonies from a raft of the party's officials to the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
Another of Mr Johnson's opponents also faced a blow as a number of Brexit Party MEPs quit Nigel Farage's party, in order to back the Conservatives.
Annunziata Rees-Mogg – sister of Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg – Lance Forman and Lucy Harris, have all resigned the whip to back the Prime Minister’s push to “get Brexit done”.
