
Boris Johnson will make his first major speech of the general election today and will insist the UK cannot afford to "squander" any more time deciding how or when to leave the EU.
The Prime Minister will pledge to end the "groundhoggery of Brexit", saying: "If we can get a working majority we can get Parliament working for you, we can get out of the rut."
Meanwhile, Labour will today vow to outspend the Tories on health funding as they reveal a £26 billion "rescue plan" for the NHS.
Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell and Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth will on Wednesday announce the bid to "end the Tory NHS crisis" with a £26 billion real-terms - £40 billion in cash terms - healthcare funding boost.
