Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been handed a huge boost after Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage said his party won't stand in Tory seats won in the 2017 election.
Mr Johnson hailed it as "recognition that there's only one way to get Brexit done, and that's to vote for the Conservatives".
Mr Farage earlier announced the Brexit Party would abandon 287 constituencies on December 12 out of fears his party would split the pro-Brexit vote, potentially resulting in a second referendum.
Instead, Mr Farage - who had come under huge pressure from members within his party to relent to the Tories - said he would take the fight to Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
