Moment pensioner tells Sky News she won't vote for 'the red man who doesn't like Jewish people' or 'the buffoon'

A pensioner has captured the nation's frustration by saying she would not vote for either the "red man" who "doesn't like the Jewish people" or "the buffoon".

Molly Bennet, 86, slammed both Labour's Jeremy Corbyn and the Conservatives' Boris Johnson when she was asked by a Sky News reporter who she would back in the December 12 general election.

Her comments are reminiscent of "Brenda from Bristol", a pensioner who went viral in 2017 when she was asked what she thought of that upcoming general election and replied: "You’re joking? Not another one!”

Benda said: “Oh for God’s sake, I can’t honestly... I can’t stand this. There’s too much politics going on at the moment.”

Now Ms Bennet, despairing at both this year's contenders for Number 10, has also replied with frustration, saying: "Well I know who I'm not voting for. The red man. He doesn't like the Jewish people and I don't agree with that."

Ms Bennet then went on to reveal that while she usually votes for the Tories, she would not be giving Mr Johnson her support next month, calling him a "buffoon".

Frustrated by both contenders for Number 10, she said:

Ms Bennet said: "I normally vote Conservative but I can't bear the buffoon. I call him a buffoon, and anybody who doesn't know he needs longer shirts is an idiot."

"Anybody who gets stuck up a lamp post is an idiot too", she added, perhaps referring to when the Prime Minister got stuck on a zip wire during an Olympic event in 2012.

The pensioner said she voted for Theresa May in the 2017 general election.

She said: "I thought they maltreated her. I thought it was disgraceful, the behaviour they treated her to.

"And I should think her husband cheers every time the buffoon puts his foot in it."

When asked again who she will support at the election next month, Ms Bennet said: "I can't think of anybody else that I would vote for.

"Do you know, I'm so terribly undecided. I don't know if I'll waste a vote. I can't think of anybody else that I would vote for."

Her comments come after Mr Corbyn repeatedly refused to apologise to the Jewish community in the wake of the Chief Rabbi labelling him unfit for high office due to his perceived inaction over anti-Semitism in the party.

Mr Johnson also came under fire over Islamaphobia in the Conservative Party as well as previous comments he made about Muslim women looking like "letterboxes".

He issued an apology to the "hurt and offence" caused by Islamaphobia within Tory ranks although has so far remained silent on his own remarks.

Meanwhile a major poll revealed last night that the Conservative Party could win a landslide majority of around 366 seats.
