The developers of 2019's breakout hit Untitled Goose Game have urged its fans to vote Labour.
House House, the small Australian company who created the game, took a break from tweeting about the aggressive waterfowl that stars in its game to send out a post about the upcoming general election.
Noting that it was a break from its usual content, it shared a message to followers who were in the UK, urging them to "please, please, please go and vote for a Labour government" on 12 December, the polling day.
It also shared a picture of the famous goose, surrounded by Labour's red roses.
The post is already proving hugely popular with fans of the game, which became a surprise hit over the year.
Untitled Goose Game came out earlier this year for PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch, and swiftly became the shock hit of the year. Players control a "horrible goose", as the developers describe it, who makes its way around a small village.
The game also became a meme that extended right across the internet. The aggressive goose became a star of a variety of jokes and images that were widely shared online.
House House are the latest in a series of people in the creative industries to publicly back the Labour Party in the upcoming election. Earlier this week, Dua Lipa urged her tens of millions of followers to back the party, for instance.
