What time do polls close tonight?
The polling stations will close today at 10pm.
They have been open since 7am this morning, giving you 15 hours in total to get your vote in.
If you are too late, then you will be unable to vote.
However, as long as you're waiting in the queue at the polling station by 10pm, you'll still be able to cast your vote.
So, essentially, make sure you are at the polling station before 10pm.

What happens if you can't get to the polling station?
If you have a medical emergency or an unforeseen work circumstance means you cannot get to the polling station, you have until 5pm today to .

The exit polls will be released as soon as polls close, at 10pm.
They should give us a good idea of who won the general election.
