Weeks of campaigning, debating, canvassing and reporting come to a head on Thursday. You’ve been sharing your stories from polling day and now we await the results of the votes you cast.
Polls and reports suggest the most closely contested election in decades and politicians and journalists alike will be scrutinising “the seats to watch”, but what is the picture on the ground? You’ve been sharing stories throughout the campaign. Now we want to hear from you this election night - help us document decision day across the UK.
This is the place to share your stories from wherever you were on polling day in words, pictures or video. Show us what’s been happening in your community and at polling stations around the country. If you’re following the election from outside of the UK, tell us how and why.
