Gemma O'Doherty has been arrested while broadcasting live online after she refused to give her name and address to a Garda.
The ex-journalist can be seen filming two officers removing a banner from a footbridge in Wicklow.
In the video, which has now gone viral on social media, the controversial Dubliner can be heard saying: "Look at this! Look at this! This is criminal damage."
Guards were at the scene on the N11 flyover footbridge at Kilmacanogue after receiving a number of complaints from angry locals, Dublin Live reports.
Pointing her camera at one of the Garda members, she says: "How dare you. Look at this. This is a gangster."
She asks the guard for his ID number before claiming that what he was doing is "criminal damage".
She tells the officers that they are "cowards and traitors to the Irish people".
The Garda then asks her for her details, at which point Ms O'Doherty says: "You won't be getting my name and address", before she turns to walk away.
The guard can be heard yelling: "Give me your name and address now" at which point the camera turns to the ground and Ms O'Doherty claims that the Garda is "assaulting" her.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí were alerted to an incident on the N11 flyover footbridge at Kilmacanogue as a result of a number of complaints received from members of the public earlier this afternoon, Friday, 28th August, 2020 shortly after 4pm.
"Gardaí attended the scene and arrested one female (early 50s) under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act, 1994. She is currently in Bray Garda station.
"Investigations ongoing."
A garda spokeswoman later added: "The woman was released this evening on bail and is due to appear before Bray District Court on the 21st September, 2020. Investigations ongoing."
