Gemma Collins visibly upset after 'tough few months' as parents are still in hospital

Gemma Collins was visibly upset during a brief outing in Essex this week.

The former TOWIE star, 39, has been dealing with a hellish few weeks after her parents fell ill with coronavirus, and her dad was left fighting for his life in hospital.

Gem's heart was further broken by the tragic news of her ex Mick Norcross' sudden death last week.

On top of that, her on/off boyfriend James Argent's weight issues could also be something she's had to deal with.

Gem appeared somewhat glum during her outing as she grabbed a coffee to go.

Keeping her head down as she walked to and from the coffee shop, it's clear that something of importance was playing up on The GC's mind.

Wearing a pair of black leggings, Gem opted for a sporty look for her quick dash.

She teamed her look up with a blue hoodie which she wore under a black puffer jacket.

It comes as Gemma's dad Alan has been forced to fight for his life in hospital following a positive coronavirus test.

Naturally, the concerning news saw Gem strip away her diva persona as she pleaded with fans to listen to the government guidelines during lockdown.

Gem also expressed her sorrow at TOWIE star Mick's tragic death.

She penned an emotional tribute to her ex Mick Norcross after he was found dead at his home.

The pair briefly dated while they were both appearing on the show years ago.

After the father of Kirk Norcross was found dead at the age of 57, Gemma took to Instagram to remember him.

The 39-year-old shared a lovely picture of them together.

It showed her staring at him lovingly and placing a hand on his chest as he smiled for the camera.
