Gemma Collins was terrified after her 13-year-old nephew drifted out to sea while on holiday with the reality TV star.
Hayden went kayaking on the Cornish coast but drifted out much further than planned with a panicked Gemma left scrambling to get help from the shore.
Thankfully for Gemma and her family, a lifeguard was on duty on the St Ives’ beach and Hayden eventually safely made his way to sure.
“She was really frightened,” an eyewitness told MailOnline. “Everyone knows how much Gemma loves her nephews and she wouldn't forgive herself if anything happened to them.
“Naturally, she panicked when she realised Hayden was left out on his own and he looked some way out on his kayak, she rushed to the lifeguard who was very responsive, and used a jet-ski to quickly rescue him.
“The boys were in sight for a while because she was shouting out from the beach ‘come back, come back, you're going too far,’ and they obviously couldn't hear and continued to go out,”
“That's when she then realised she couldn't see them, and she started to panic. It went on for 15 minutes from there.
“We just assumed Hayden had gone a bit too far and would come back, then after about 10 minutes even I started to worry and thought ‘it's been a while, he's not come back’. Gemma was so frantic and rightly so, it was a really scary situation.”
Gemma was snapped looking very worried and with her hands on her hips are she desperately waited for Hayden to get back to dry land.
She is also pictured pointing at the sea as the fun day at the beach quickly turned to anxiety for the former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! self-proclaimed diva.
Hayden is the son of Gemma’s older brother, Russell Collins, 43.
And she is believed to be very close to Hayden and his 15-year-old sibling Kane.
However, the eyewitness revealed that although Gemma was shouting at them to come back, the boys “obviously couldn’t hear” and continued to paddle out further.
The GC is very close to her two nephews, whose mum Dawn, 50, has starred in her ITVBe reality series Diva Forever.
Gemma has shared glimpses of her Cornwall staycation, including snaps of her wearing a wetsuit and boyfriend Rami Hawash enjoying the delights of a hot tub at their plush pad.
The couple stayed at the luxury glamping site The Sea Forts, before moving on to stay on the nearby Carbis Bay Hotel and Estate.
