Gemma Collins has 'signed a podcast deal with the BBC' nearly two years after her epic fall at the broadcaster's Teen Awards.

The reality TV star has reportedly signed on the dotted line to host her own podcast that will see her dishing all on her life.

A BBC insider told Standard Online: “Everyone at Radio 1 is so excited to be teaming up with the GC on a great new podcast for BBC Sounds - more details to come very soon!”

Standard Online has contacted representatives for Collins and the BBC for further comment.

The reported deal comes after Collins fell through a trap door while live on stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in 2017.

The viral moment – which prompted multiple memes happened as she was presenting a prize to the cast of Love Island series three.

The star carried on presenting like nothing had happened but later claimed that the broadcaster had not "said sorry" after the mishap.

“Do you know what I find shocking? The BBC hasn’t sent any flowers. Nothing,” she said shortly afterwards.

Collins' new show Diva Forever is set to air on ITVBe on August 7 and will chart the diva's day to day exploits including her rollercoaster relationship with on-off boyfriend James Argent.

It will also focus on her trip to Los Angeles earlier this year, where she met up with friend Jonathan Cheban.
