Gemma Collins slammed ‘fake’ adverts claiming she uses diet pills in order to lose weight.
The reality star responded to an Instagram comment from a fan alerting her to adverts using her image to sell “keto tablets” and quickly shut down the claims.
“No I am not I will put my lawyers into it straight away #fake advertising,” she wrote.
The 38-year-old then shared a string of screenshots from adverts linking her to a “skinny pill,” warning her fans to “be aware” that she has “no association with any of these products.”
“Lots of people contacting me re certain products thinking I’m using them,” she wrote in the caption.
“My LAWYERS are on to you right now and I look forward to receiving thousands!!! DO NOT ASSOCIATE my NAME with your products when I am not behind them.”
The GC went on to state that she is “copyright and patented,” adding: “I have no association with any of these products…. Ladies guys do not fall into this thinking it’s what I am using I am not x #betterbeware .”
The former Dancing on Ice contestant recently revealed that she has lost weight by embracing a “vegan lifestyle.”
Thanking fans for their positive response to her slimmer figure in an Instagram post shared in April, Collins wrote: “Thanks for you weight loss comments my hard work is defo paying off #veganlifestyle #eatlifenotdeath.”
The star is thought to have lost around two stone while taking part in Dancing on Ice, and vowed back in February to give up on “diet and weight loss nonsense,” urging her fans to embrace a similarly body positive approach.
“Eat real food, be active and live your LIFE,” she told Instagram followers. “Forget all the diet and weight loss NONSENSE. It’s really just that... NONSENSE. Spreading LOVE and POSITIVITY.”
