Gemma Collins shows off her vocal talents as she duets with boyfriend James Argent

Gemma Collins showed off her impressive vocal skills to her Instagram followers as she shared a clip of her and boyfriend James Argent performing a duet.

The reality star posted a series of videos from inside a trailer, after she told fans that she and Argent were filming a new project today.

“Everyone thinks I’m a diva, it’s James! We’re filming today, very excited,” she told viewers in her initial post.

She then shared a video of Argent singing Frank Sinatra’s big band classic LOVE, before the TOWIE star stopped when he realised that he was being filmed.

Collins then showcased her own vocal talents as she continued to sing the next line, prompting her partner to follow her lead as he protested “I don’t know the next bit!”

As he proceeded to mime and sing along to the rest of the track, she claimed that Argent “look[s] like Dean Martin today,” before joining in again.

Last month, it was reported that Collins was looking to embark on a musical career in the United States with the help of producer Naughty Boy, with whom she struck up a friendship at the BRIT Awards.

The former Dancing on Ice contestant teased her musical ambitions in an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, telling the chat show host: “Do you know Naughty Boy, who [has] done Running with Beyoncé? He wants to make a track with me.

“I met him at the BRITs, it’s all going ahead.”

The producer appeared to confirm the news shortly after when he tweeted a clip of himself watching Collins’ interview, captioning it: “Oh it’s happening @missgemcollins has a beautiful voice… watch this space people…”

Separate reports have suggested that Collins is in talks to appear on a new all-star edition of the X Factor.

“We want big and exciting stars and The GC is popular and we reckon she makes entertaining viewing,” a show source told the Daily Star. “More important, she can sing.

“Simon Cowell has handled many divas over the years with the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Mel B, so we reckon he will be able to deal with this Essex one.”
