Gemma Collins has compared herself to Michael Jackson and moaned her fame has got so big her manager has to ask shopping centres to close to stop her being mobbed by fans.
The Towie star said she has now got so famous that a squad of security guards were not enough to prevent selfie seekers racing up to her.
Gemma, 38, claims safety experts have also warned her it is now a risk for her to go out in public owing to the swarm of fans that meet her.

She told The Daily Star : “I can’t go shopping like I did before I was famous. It has to be planned now. I can’t walk around a shopping centre.
“Even when I have four security guards with me, shoppers run towards me.
“It’s fun, but it’s difficult when you’re trying to get your bits.
“I believe it would be considered a safety risk. It would be death by kisses and hugs. People all want to hug me. They want to touch The GC!

“It has got to the stage like it did with Michael Jackson where my agent has to see if shopping centres will shut down for me.”
Gemma, who has also starred on Dancing On Ice and I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, revealed to the paper that she now does most of her shopping online.
She said: “It is all very surreal. My mum gets the hump because she has always liked going shopping with me. She says, ‘I want to spend time with you on my own’.”

The 38-year-old is back on TV tonight in the Dancing On Ice Christmas special on ITV.
