Gemma Collins revealed that her dad's recovery has been the 'biggest gift' she's received ahead of her birthday.
The Essex bombshell will be opening lots of luxury gifts when she celebrates her 40th birthday tomorrow - but nothing is more important than knowing her dad is getting better.
Taking to social media, the TOWIE star penned a touching message in which she shared an update about her dad's recovery.
It came one month after her 73-year-old dad was rushed to hospital in December while battling Covid-19.
In her latest social media post, Gemma put on a glam display as she reflected on her 'incredible life'.
The reality star donned a pink gown and stood next to a pony as she posed up a storm in front of a stunning white mansion.
In her thoughtful social media message, Gemma revealed that she's 'overwhelmed' by the Chanel and Gucci parcels awaiting her.
But Alan's recovery is what she is most excited about.
"As I approach turning 39+1 tomorrow I am reflecting on what an incredible life I have had so far," Gemma announced to fans.
"I will deliver my full speech tomorrow but I am overwhelmed with the troves of gifts arriving. I’m just so excited to open them all !
She continued: "I’ve seen Versace parcels Gucci parcels Chanel parcels so thank you I will find out who’s sent them tomorrow"
The reality star then revealed: "the biggest gift of all is my dad who is recovering slowly and things are looking positive small steps but he’s getting stronger daily ! X."
Gemma has been sharing lots of candid updates with her followers ever since both of her parents came down with Covid-19 in December.
At the time, the reality star posted several heartbreaking photos as she urged fans to take the pandemic seriously.
However, earlier this week Gemma revealed that her dad had finally been sent home from hospital and is currently recovering at home.
Speaking on her BBC podcast ahead of her big day, Gemma revealed the news she had been waiting for came just days before her 40th.
"My dad comes home this week, so it's the best birthday I could wish for," Gemma revealed to listeners.
