Gemma Collins has broken her silence on her split from James Argent, describing their relationship as “complicated” after he sent her a series of “fat shaming” texts.
The reality star was said to have called time on her relationship with Arg after a dispute over him posting a video of her sleeping online, before bombarding her with “hateful” texts after Collins threw him out of their Essex home.
But they appeared to have rekindled their romance after being spotted kissing in Paris on a romantic getaway.
Jonathan Ross quizzed Collins on her current relationship status and asked if she is “sort of single”.
“It’s complicated, yeah. I’m sick of blokes. I’m sick of them. I’ve just had enough to be honest,” Collins told the host on his self-titled chat show.
But the 38-year-old revealed that she does “love” Arg, blaming photographers for “killing” the Paris trip last week.
Collins said: “I do love the person I am with very much but sometimes our work life gets in the way. We just went on a romantic trip to Paris and then paps turned up, he didn’t arrange it but we really needed some time out and it kind of killed the trip.
“It’s just hard sometimes but you never know what’s going to happen, things could be alright in the end.”
As well as appearing to confirm her spat with Arg is over, Collins smoothed over any drama with Jason Gardiner and revealed she will be returning to Dancing On Ice this weekend.
Collins had “pulled out” of performing on Sunday’s show after Gardiner likened her nickname 'The GC' to a “brand of refrigerator”.
