Gemma Collins reveals secret to maintaining three-stone weight loss — but claims she'll 'never be thin'

Gemma Collins has revealed she eats just one meal a day to maintain her three-stone weight loss.

The former TOWIE star, 44, has struggled with her weight since being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome aged 28 and weighed more than 23 stone at her heaviest.

She has lost more than three stone since she began using NHS-approved Mountjaro weight loss injections in November 2024, going from size 26 to size 20.

The TV personality has now divulged that she has “forgotten” about food, explaining that it’s not longer a “major player” in her life.

"For me, taking the jab is more about helping me not to fixate on food, so I actually only eat once a day now and don't snack,” she told The Sun.

“I used to fascinate about food all day, but now it's not a major player in my life anymore, I've forgotten all about it.”

The former I’m A Celebrity star added: "I'm never going to be thin and I've made peace with that. Everyone needs to accept it.

“Nothing against skinny people, but I don't ever want to be thin. Darling, I became most famous being who I am.”

Collins - who had pneumonia over the summer - has been candid about the impact of her weight loss, previously telling fans she feared it had left her “looking older”.

“I really don't know what's happened to me, I really don't, it's just come on me overnight. But it has been a year since I've had any little tweakments,” she said.

“I don't know if it's since I've been losing weight. I sure haven't got "Ozempic face" yet, but it would be the dream right now.”

She went on: “I've always had a fuller face, as you know. I do like expression around my eyes. I want to look natural still. But this just isn't right.

“What has happened? I am 44, but this is taking it to levels that I never, ever imagined it'd get to.”

Ozempic face” is the term used to describe sagging skin or a gaunt appearance that can follow rapid weight loss, often linked to medications like semaglutides.

Collins, who became a household name on the ITV reality show TOWIE in 2011, is now preparing for her next major TV project: Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

The Sky documentary series promises to follow the star through “the biggest chapter of her life” as she navigates marriage and motherhood.

It will air next year.
