Gemma Collins has revealed her plans to swap Essex for Los Angeles.

The reality diva opened up about her dream of moving from the United Kingdom to the United States while filming The Jonathan Ross Show, telling the host that her “intuition” is guiding her to America.

The 38-year-old suggested that her journey to Hollywood would be the perfect material for a new TV show, telling Ross: “I’ve never been to LA. [I’m going to LA because] the cameras want to be on me the minute I touch down in LA, to follow me having a go at [making a career in America].”

She went on to reveal that a number of signs have told her that she should cross the Atlantic.

“I follow my intuition and last weekend when I was in Paris Oprah Winfrey was there, this top florist called Jeff [Leatham] who does all the flowers for the Kardashians,” she said.

“I’m really good friends with [Kardashian confidante] Jonathan Cheban, Chris Pratt was asked in an interview [about me]. The minute I saw Oprah Winfrey in this hotel at the weekend, I thought ‘I’m going to America.’”

Collins said that she was unlikely to “rock up to America” and immediately become “a big star,” and credited “luck” and “intuition” for her rise to fame to date.

Jason Gardiner takes a dig at Gemma Collins on This Morning

“My intuition always guides me to the right place,” she said. “I want to travel the world. I’ll be honest with you, someone said to me ten years ago, ‘Would you ever leave Essex?’ I’m like, ‘No way, I never would.’ Now ten years on I think there is a lot more out there in the world and I want to see that.”

The star also confirmed that she would be returning to Dancing On Ice for Sunday’s grand final, after previously ‘pulling out’ of the show after judge Jason Gardiner likened her ‘GC’ nickname to a brand of “refrigerator.”

“I did pull out and then I thought, to everyone that has supported me, for my own self esteem, I am not going to back down to anybody,” she told Ross.

“I am going to walk back in on that show on Sunday night and I am going to skate like it’s the last day of my life.”

The Jonathan Ross Show is on ITV, Saturday at 9.20pm
