Gemma Collins offers to help Theresa May fix Brexit - after voting LEAVE

TOWIE star Gemma Collins has weighed in on the latest Brexit row, as prime minister Theresa May holds a fourth vote on her Brexit deal.

With just weeks to go until the extended EU leave date, a deal is still yet to be agreed on by parliament, but Gemma has a solution.

She was grilled on Good Morning Britain on Monday by host Piers Morgan, asked if she originally voted to leave or remain in the EU in the 2016 referendum.

Gemma confessed she voted to leave, and hasn’t changed her mind three years on despite the Brexit chaos.

Instead, Gemma offered her help to Theresa ahead of the next vote, as she encouraged MPs to come together and finally decide on a deal.

She said: “I voted out”, before adding she thought parliament just needed to "get on with it” as the situation was becoming “boring”.

Gemma commented: “I think Theresa needs to lead our nation, take a deep breath Theresa, make a deal and let’s move forward.

“If you’re a leader in this country, take the lead and own it and people will follow.”

She continued: “If you need some help hun, I’m free for an hour after the show.”

Piers quipped in, claiming he thought the GC might even do a better job than the current PM.

Gemma went on: “You’ve got to have some gumption if you’re leading the country. For me now, it’s boring, next, come on Theresa let’s do this.

“Once a decision’s been made, I think the whole country will feel confident. I recently went to a shopping centre, no one was in it.

“Not that that’s got nothing to do with Brexit but I think people aren’t spending at the minute. Everybody’s worried.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
