Gemma Collins is mourning the loss of her beloved cat Twinkle after she rescued the feline 22 years ago.
The GC, 39, took to Instagram Stories to share the sad news of Twinkle's passing, as she admits she now feels "absolutely heartbroken".
The former TOWIE star got candid with her followers as she recalled giving Twinkle a home in 1998.
She wrote: "I rescued her 22 years ago, she passed last night.
"I'm absolutely heartbroken. I love you Twinkle."
Gemma shared a sweet snap of her tabby with Whitney Houston's hit song I Will Always Love You playing in the background.

The Diva Forever star even featured her cat in her 2013 autobiography, Basically...My Life As A Real Essex Girl.
Explaining what a normal day in her life looked like back then, she penned: "I got up, fed my cat Twinkle, a stray I had rescued, and went to work."
The sad news put an even more of a dampener on Gemma's time in self isolation, as recently she revealed it's been really tough not being able to see her mum.

Gemma broke down into tears as she caught up on the news about coronavirus when she decided to check up on her doting mum, Joan.
During her conversation, the two Essex natives revealed their concerns about the impact that coronavirus will have on people's mental health.
"I think this is going to cause people a lot of mental health," Gemma told her mum.

After she ended her phone call, the blonde reality star was visibly tearful and admitted that she 'missed her mum'.
"I won't see her over Easter. I know that she's missing us and it's the same for a lot of people," Gemma continued.

The reality star also appeared shaken as she worried about what she had just heard on the news.
"It's just so weird, everything that is going on. "
