Gemma Collins fall is 'karma': Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner reignites feud

Jason Gardiner has implied that he thinks Gemma Collins’ fall was “karma” after he liked a string of negative tweets about her.

The Australian judge subtly took aim at the reality star on his account by pressing the heart-shaped button on comments about Collins being “vile”.

Collins and Gardiner first clashed live on Dancing On Ice earlier this month when Collins accused him of “selling stories about her” . The public spat – in which Gardiner called her a “brat – left viewers complaining to Ofcom and Gardiner allegedly threatening to sue .

Gardiner proved there are still hard feelings after he showed appreciation for tweets which branded her ice fall as “karma”.

“Sometimes KARMA is there just staring at you straight in the face. When you fall on it. #honestjudge #myhonestopinion,” somebody else commented.

Collins fell to the floor during her skate to Celine Dion classic It’s All Coming Back To Me with professional partner Matt Evers on Sunday night.

Attempting to glide into a move, the 37-year-old hit the deck before being helped up and carrying on with a smile, ending with a score of 16.5.

Collins later admitted that she was “devastated and embarrassed,” but took inspiration from boxer Tyson Fury about getting back up when being knocked down.

However, the fall may have taken its toll on Collins as she was forced to take a day off training with her boyfriend James Argent claiming that she is “struggling to walk” and using a wheelchair .

“Gemma couldn’t sleep last night because she’s in so much pain,” he told The Sun, adding: “The swelling around her thighs is horrific, and she’s black and blue all over.

“She’s struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she’s been using [her mother] Joan’s wheelchair on and off all day because she’s in so much pain.”

Dancing On Ice is on ITV, Sunday at 6pm
