Gemma Collins’ “ex-boyfriend” James Argent has been branded “revolting” by the Loose Women panel over the snoring video which reportedly caused the pair to split.
The Dancing on Ice star reportedly ditched on-off partner Arg after he added the clip of Collins to his Instagram story.
The prank went down poorly with panellist Janet Street-Porter, who blasted Arg for invading Collins' privacy, hailing the move “absolutely disgusting”.
She said: “I think it’s a complete invasion of privacy and completely disgusting to post that on social media without her permission.
“It’s aggressive and he followed it up with some unpleasant remarks. I mean, I don’t care one way or the other about that pair but I must say what he did was pretty revolting.”
Fellow panellist Christine Lampard also hit out at the video, adding that the issue stems from Collins being “unaware it is happening."
The comments come after a slew of reports claimed that the GC was left fuming by the post, which was shared to his 758,000 followers, and kicked him out of their Essex home in response.
According to The Sun, Arg, 31, then bombarded Gemma, 38, with a torrent of weight-related texts, calling her a “fat joke” and an “absolute car crash.”
He is thought to have said: “You fat horrible lump. Nasty mean woman. Who the f*** do you think you are? You’ve got more rolls than Greggs.”
The paper also said Gemma believed their relationship was like the movie A Star Is Born, where Lady Gaga’s character outshines her mentor, played by Bradley Cooper.
An insider also told the publication that Collins “felt Arg wouldn’t have posted the clip if he really loved her."
The pair are yet to confirm the split, with Collins stepping out on Tuesday for the first time since the speculation surfaced, beaming for the cameras.
