Gemma Collins enjoys spa day treat with Matt Evers from Dancing On Ice producers

Gemma Collins enjoyed a day being pampered at a spa after a brutal couple of weeks on Dancing On Ice.

The reality star told fans that the producers had sent her and partner Matt Evers to Champneys after a terrible on-air fall and rigorous training left Collins with battered knees.

Posting videos on her Instagram story, Collins told fans: “The lovely producers at Dancing On Ice [have bought us here] because, when they saw what I looked like they were like…”

The video then cut to Collins showing off her bruised knee as she rested up in the spa alongside her skating partner.

Collins, 38, added: “This is reality right now, I’m so ill but I’m at Dancing on Ice - nothing is gonna stop me.”

The TOWIE star then thanked the staff at the spa before heading to her car to get back to the competition, with Evers confirming on his own social media that it was “back to the ice”.

Collins was in tears after her skate last Sunday, telling Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield how her icy plunge the week before caused her to “lose her nerve” .

"I’m really upset because obviously last week I had really improved and then since the fall my nerves have gone,” Collins cried.

But there was one surprise in store for Collins when Jason Gardiner gave her the highest score, a four, out of the judges.

Last month, Collins hit the deck during her skate to It’s All Coming Back To Me. She later claimed she “blacked out” during the episode, which caused her to crash to the floor .

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
