Gemma Collins is engaged to her partner Rami Hawash for a second time.

The former Towie star, 40, first began dating the businessman in 2011 - but they split three years later.

During their first relationship, the pair became engaged before ending it in 2014.

Collins then began dating her co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent who she saw on-and-off for a number of years.

But the reality star rekindled her romance with Hawash earlier in 202 and Collins has confirmed the pair are now engaged for a second time.

However, the news has not been announced officially - Collins said - as Hawash, 48, is going through a divorce from his first wife.

Collins told The Times there was no hard feelings between Hawash and his ex - with whom he shares a three-year-old son.

But the star said the couple wanted to keep their happy news on the down low until the divorce was final.

Confirming their engagement Collins said: “Yeah, but we can’t really come out and say anything yet because Ram was married before and his paperwork has not come through, so until that’s officially signed, we’ve not said anything.

“They’ve not been together for two years. I know her, she’s got a partner, she’s as good as gold. There’s a child involved, he’s only three, obviously I love him to death. But until that paperwork’s signed I can’t come out.”

Earlier this year, Collins revealed she and Hawash are trying to start a family of their own.

She told Metro.co.uk: “I am trying to have a baby. I have been with my partner for a while, we don’t use condoms now.

“I am 40 years old but if I was back out on the dating scene then I’d definitely be using one.”

“The baby is going to be adored. I haven’t had a baby yet, but I speak as if I have as I am trying to cosmic order it up,” she explained.

Collins is preparing to open her theatre show - Gemma Collins: The GC’s Big Night Out — which will be an improvised, audience participation show running in April.

She said to the Times it would be a “no bars hold [sic] … ” show.
