Gemma Collins' £1.3m Essex mansion has been 'blown to pieces' by Storm Eunice

Gemma Collins has been left picking up the pieces after her Essex mansion was 'blown to pieces' by fearsome Storm Eunice.

Not only was the 41-year-old forced to resort to tea lights as a power cut caused havoc at her pad.

But this morning she went to assess the damage done - and she probably wishes she had stayed inside.

The GC still has no electricity, and was forced to spend some time in her car to charge her phone.

She went into her garden and recorded the carnage with her beloved life-sized horse Tallulah the biggest victim of the terrible weather.

Recording the devastation of Storm Eunice, the TOWIE icon was in sombre mood after seeing the state of her prized possessions and her destroyed trees.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she took fans on a tour of the aftermath.

"Poor Tallulah was taken down in the storm.... unbelievable," she said as she showed the white steed out for the count on the floor.

"The place has been absolutely blown to pieces. I have fence panels down, it's really bad.

Gemma even had to charge her phone in her car (INSTAGRAM)

"It is just terrible. I can't see any news, I don't know what's going on out there and I still have no electric.

"I have just had to charge me phone in the car."

She went on: "The only thing that has survived the storm was the (huge wooden) elephant, thank goodness.

"My beautiful trees have been blown around, and my gnome - oh my god."

She needs power...and fast.

Sharing a photograph of her incredible home last night, hundreds of tea lights could be seen dotted around on the marble countertops.

She captioned the photo: "Power cut life hours !!!!".

The GC certainly isn't the only celebrity who's been struggling with the gale force winds today as Joe Swash shared his horror at the trees being torn down in his garden.

Joe expressed his disbelief over the extreme winds destroying his home and garden he shares with fiancee Stacey Solomon.

It comes as Storm Eunice causes chaos around the UK, ripping O2 Arena's iconic roof "to pieces", blowing over lorries on the motorway and causing travel chaos as over 430 flights were cancelled.
