Gemma Atkinson shares heartwarming video of mesmerised daughter watching dad Gorka dance

Gemma Atkinson has shared a heartwarming video of her mesmerised daughter watching her dad dance.

The Hits Radio host shares two-year-old Mia with Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez.

He is currently competing in the BBC One dancing competition with former Coronation Street star Kate McGlynn.

And at the very start of the series, Gorka led a beautiful routine from the professional dancers.

He was joined by fellow dancer Karen Hauer for the intimate start to the routine to A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.

The joyous routine returned to the ballroom where the dancers put on a dazzling display.

And it turns out Gorka's daughter was a big fan.

"That's Gorka," Mia turns around and tells her mum in the clip as she's sat on a plush pink chair closer to the TV screen.

"Is that Gorka?" Gemma asked her in the video posted to her Instagram stories. "That's your Papa," she added as Mia repeated what she said.

"Coming home on Tuesday," the youngster sweetly added as Gemma repeated what she said.

The proud mum tried asking Mia who it was her daddy was dancing with only for her to stare at the screen as Gorka danced with Karen.

"Aw," Gemma is heard saying as she told her followers: "FYI watched this 64 times."

Mia eventually replied to her mum, rightly saying Karen before adding: "Mummy."

Gemma laughed: "It's not mummy. Mummy can't do that." She then tagged Karen and wrote over the clip: "If only [crying laughing emoji]."

Gorka and Katie found themselves in the dance-off in Sunday night's results show.

The couple were up against Nina Wadia and Neil Jones who became the first couple to leave the 2021 competition.

After the results show aired, Gorka hit back at rumours he and Katie, who played Sinead Tinker in Corrie, didn't get on.

After praising Katie and thanking viewers for their support, Gorka commented: "And to those who think that we aren’t getting on keep thinking it."

Katie, who plays Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks, also thanked him for being the 'best partner.'
