Gemma Atkinson raged about an ex-boyfriend she "should have slapped the crap out of" in a candid new Instagram post.
The 35-year-old shared some wisdom with her 1.3 million followers as she posted an inspirational quote about taking responsibility for healing.
In her caption, Gemma touched on a past relationship of hers where she says she had forgiven her ex but admitted she should've handled things differently.
The mum-of-one shared the quote: "Your wound is probably not your fault, but your healing is your responsibility."
In an accompanying caption, she penned: "We've all had unfair things happen to us. In our work, our relationships and our everyday life."
She continued: "Placing blame on the person responsible will long term only eat you up (As hard as it is I know, I was talking to my mate last night and we both agreed we've forgiven some Exes we should have just slapped the crap out of)."
She added: "Sometimes things happen out of nowhere that are completely out of our control.
"Heal yourself over time and move forward, you’ll feel even stronger once you’re out the other side."
And Gemma really seems to have taken her own advice, as the blonde bombshell is now in a happy relationship with Strictly star Gorka Marquez, 28.
The loved-up couple are proud parents to seven-month-old Mia.
Earlier this week, Gemma and Gorka have recently celebrated their two-year relationship anniversary.
Gemma, 35, gushed over her Strictly Come Dancing Star boyfriend and revealed how lucky she feels to have him.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the radio presenter wrote: “Two years ago today you asked me to 'be your girlfriend'.
“I’m glad I said yes. Thanks for everything Gorks.
“For being so kind and patient (even when I was mean whenever I was hungry during the last trimester)."
