Gemma said the show she's working on will be on telly 'throughout the whole of next year.'

And it will take the 37-year-old mother-of-one out of her comfort zone.

"It's amazing," she enthused as she spoke into the camera.

"Half of it I'm really comfortable with, I can do it no probs.

"The other half is completey out of my comfort zone, so far out of my comfort zone."

She received words of encouragement from Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka who reassured her: "I think you'll be brilliant."

Gemma, from Bury, says she'll still be doing her drivetime show on Manchester's Hits Radio and she'll also be filming Hollyoaks in January.

The star, who has a two-year-old daughter Mia with Gorka, says she'll also be doing a photo shoot for a project she's been working on for the past six months.

And work will keep her so busy she won't be around for a month.

"It's a good job Papa Marquez has got Mia for the month because I ain't going to be here," she said as he jokingly cheered.

Gemma says the couple will then 'tag team' as Gorka embarks on his Firedance tour and the Strictly live tour.

"Have you got me tickets?" she teased.

"I bet you haven't even thought about me."

"No because you're too busy," he quipped.

Gemma recently revealed that she's returning to the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks as Lisa Hunter.

She played the role until 2005 and the star was involved in a number of high-profile storylines that included bullying and self-harm.
