Gemma Atkinson's gorgeous dogs Norman and Ollie steal the show during Heaton Park stroll

It’s usually Gemma Atkinson who takes centre stage - but yesterday her gorgeous dogs Norman and Ollie stole her thunder.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star, who is pregnant with her first child, popped out to Heaton Park with her fur babies to take part in a charity dog walk.

You may remember her poches had a starring role in February when Gemma and fiance Gorka Marquez posted a delightful photo of them to announce the news they were expecting.

They had little signs around their necks - on the left, Sproodle Norman’s sigh says: “Guess what… Mummy’s pregnant!”

Cocker Spaniel Ollie, on the right, has one that says: “We’re going to be big brothers!”

The dog walk, which took place on Thursday, raised money for Cash for Kids - the charity attached to Hits Radio, where she is presenter.

After the walk, Gemma posted on Instagram: “Thank you SO much to everyone who showed up for our dog walk yesterday for @hitscashforkids.

“Was lovely meeting you all (more so all of your dogs). Thank you to @regattadogs for sponsoring the event and of course to Norman & Ollie for being just wonderful @hitsradiouk.”

Gemma, 34, invited members of the public to join her for a charity dog walk to raise funds for Cash for Kids, with proceeds going towards providing a helping hand for disabled and disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester.

Michelle Williamson, charity manager for Hits Radio’s Cash for Kids, said: “It was great to see dog owners come together and join Gemma to have some fun for a great cause and to help us positively impact as many young lives as possible.

“Funds raised will enable us to change the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children across Greater Manchester in our next grant donation round.

"The weather really turned out for it too which was a relief as the rain is never far off in Manchester.”

As a sponsor of the Hits Radio ‘Pet Month’ throughout April, Regatta Great Outdoors also supported the charity dog walk and gave away a branded water bottle worth £20 to the first 50 walkers to arrive with their four-legged friend.
