Gemma Atkinson has responded to online speculation that she was behind partner Gorka Márquez’s Strictly Come Dancing exit.
The Spanish star, 35, announced last month that he would be leaving the BBC show after 10 years.
Speaking on his podcast Lost in Translation with his partner, who he met on the show in 2017, the professional dancer said the decision was “bittersweet”.
Ms Atkinson then responded to online speculation that she had any involvement in his departure.
“Well, it wasn't my decision, which I'd like to point out for everyone who's messaged me on Instagram, saying, 'You've finally got what you want now'. Absolutely not,” she said.
