Gemma Atkinson had a 'rant' after getting a parking ticket while attending hospital appointment.
The Hits Radio drive time presenter took to Instagram to vent after she got a ticket.
She explained that she parked on a road outside the unnamed hospital because parking was restricted due to Covid test tents.
Gemma, 36, said that while she can pay the fine, others may struggle especially in these times, pointing out that it amounted to a week's shopping for a family.
The former Emmerdale actress wrote: "I was at a hospital app this morning.
"The car park was restricted due to Covid test tents up so there wasn't as many spaces as usual and it's a small car park anyway.
The only place to park was on the road outside the hospital.
"I got a ticket along with three other cars.
"I'm very fortunate in that I can pay the fine no problem.
"It's annoying don't get more wrong. But I can pay it.
"Some people can't though, especially in these times!
"It's a week's shop to some families.
"I'm all for tickets when people are obviously taking the p*** at how and where they park, but I think to patrol an area outside a hospital is really, really low."
She added: "Anyway that's my rant for the day. Deep breaths ... carry on!"
Gemma later added: "Just been told on here that hospital staff even get tickets if they can't park! That's ridiculous."
And she shared a photo of herself and her dog Ollie who comforted her.
"Anyway Ollie's here so all's well again," she said, hugging her beloved pooch.
And she was all smiles as she headed to work at Hits Radio in Castlefield.
