Gemma Atkinson's thoughts were with her man as he took to the dancefloor for the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing 2021.
The Hits Radio presenter was at a friend's 40th so she missed real-life partner and pro dancer Gorka Marquez's debut with former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn.
Ahead of their performance, the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress shared her excitement for the pair.

Taking to her Instagram Stories she wrote: "I'm at a 40th tonight so will miss these two smashing that tango!
"I've seen it and it's ACE!"
And she told them: "Have the best time."
Gemma met her fiance when she competed in the 2017 series.
She was partnered with Alijaz Skorjanec, and Gorka was paired with singer Alexandra Burke.
The couple got engaged on Valentine's Day and they have a two-year-old daughter Mia.
Fitness fanatic Gemma looked stunning as she swapped her gym gear for a strapless leaf pattern dress.
"Occasionally doesn't wear gym stuff," she joked.
But drama struck on the night when one of Gemma's pals suffered a broken toe.
In a video of Gemma walking with her injured pal she said: "I booked this hotel because it was a two minute walk.
"It's going to be a 40 minute walk."
The praise came flooding in for Katie and Gorka's powerhouse tango.
"Katie wow what a performance you were phenomenal and great! Gorka you are certainly going to get this girl far love you both," said one fan on Twitter.
"Perfect dance to bring out the actress in Katie," said another.
Last week, reacting to the news of their pairing, supportive Gemma shared a photo of the dancing duo on her Instagram Stories with the Strictly theme music and cheered 'Come On!'
