Gemma Atkinson has admitted she is furious with her daughter Mia's first words.
The 34-year-old actress, who has starred in both Hollyoaks and Emmerdale , welcomed her first child with Gorka Marquez in July 2019.
At the time, Gemma took to Instagram to tell her fans about her daughter's dramatic "entrance" and to thank the hospital staff who looked after her.
But six months on, in a jokey rant, the former Strictly star revealed her daughter's first words didn't turn out to be what she had hoped for.
According to the MEN, she said: "I carried her, I had a kidney infection with her around seven months, and was taken to A&E.
"I had an achey back, swollen feet, quite a traumatic birth, followed by a hemorrhage.
"This morning the first thing she starts saying....'dadadada.'"
The former Emmerdale actress , who met her man while she was a contestant on the 2017 series of Strictly, then jokingly mocked Mia saying 'dada' as she pretended to be annoyed that that her first word wasn't 'mama'.
The camera then panned to a smug-looking Gorka who raised his arms in the air in triumph.
"Now I know 'dadada' is easier than 'mamama' but come on Mia!" she said.
