Gemma Atkinson issued 'warning' about having more children with Gorka Marquez

Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson has been issued a 'warning' by her mum about having more kids with husband and professional dancer Gorka Marquez.

Gemma revealed the news on Channel 4 show Steph's Packed Lunch, where she explained how her mum wants her to wait a bit longer before having any more kids.

The 36-year-old actress, who shares one-year-old Mia with her Strictly Come Dancing boyfriend Gorka, revealed that her mum thinks Mia can wait a little longer to have siblings.

It comes as Gorka, who Gemma met when she competed on Strictly in 2017, gears up for the final this weekend with his dance partner Maisie Smith.

Gemma was chatting on Channel 4's Steph’s Packed Lunch today about her excitement at finally being reunited with Gorka after almost three months.

The dancer will return home on Sunday after 87 days of being apart from his family while adhering to strict Covid guidelines as he participated in the BBC show, reports the Mirror.

However, Gemma also revealed that she had received some words of warning from her mum.

“My mum’s already said to me, Mia’s too young yet, no more siblings, wait until she’s older… She’s given me the warning!” Gemma joked.

While on the show, the proud mum of one was also quizzed about who she thought might be raising the Strictly Glitterball this weekend.

“This is the first year where I can’t pinpoint it… It’s so close, they’ve all been so good.

"Jamie’s got so much enthusiasm, Bill’s been on his journey, Maisie and HRVY have been really consistent and got better and better each week.

Gemma explained that while its going to be a tough call on who wins, she is backing Gorka and Maisie for obvious reasons.

She added: "It’s anyone’s game, anyone can win it. Obviously, I’m rooting for Gorka and Maisie and all my votes will be going for them.”

Gemma has been a cheerleader for Gorka and Maisie as they continue to pull out all the stops in this year's competition.

Just days ago, the professional dancer shared an adorable video showing little Mia watching Gorka on television.

The dad of one is now just days away from being reunited with his loved ones - however it remains to be seen if he will be returning home as the Strictly champion.
