Gemma Atkinson is fuming over her daughter's first word

Gemma Atkinson has revealed her daughter's first word, and she joked that she wasn't impressed.

The Hits Radio host couldn't help sharing a jokey rant with her Instagram followers after it didn't turn out to be what she had hoped for.

The 35-year-old, who welcomed baby Mia with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Gorka Marquez in July last year, shared a hilarious video as she explained to her fans why she was rattled by her first word.

She said: "I carried her, I had a kidney infection with her around seven months, and was taken to A&E.

"I had an achey back, swollen feet, quite a traumatic birth, followed by a hemorrhage.

"This morning the first thing she starts saying....'dadadada.'"

The former Emmerdale actress , who met her man while she was a contestant on the 2017 series of Strictly, then jokingly mocked Mia saying 'dada' as she pretended to be annoyed that that her first word wasn't 'mama'.

The camera then panned to a smug-looking Gorka who raised his arms in the air in triumph.

"Now I know 'dadada' is easier than 'mamama' but come on Mia!" she said.

Gemma, from Bury, recently shared a comical story about parenthood as she shared a throwback photo of herself and Gorka on holiday in Greece.

"When you wish you were back in Greece but the reality is it’s Monday and Mia’s poo went up her back," she wrote on Instagram.
